Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some commonly asked questions about artificial grass. For more information, check out our blog or contact us!
How long will my turf last?
All of our turf comes with a 15-year manufacturer warranty. Following the care guidelines and completing yearly inspections to ensure the longevity of your turf.
How do you clean the turf?
When leaves or debris fall onto your turf, you can use a leaf blower or lightweight plastic rake to remove the leaves. For spills, you can use the hose and a non-abrasive cleaner such as Dawn to remove any sticky messes such as soda or popsicles. For odors, a simple water & vinegar solution helps combat any pet odors!
Does the turf get moldy?
No, when correctly installed, turf offers premium drainage capabilities (even better than natural grass) so the environment is not ideal for mold.
Can gophers or moles dig through the turf?
Typically, turf removes the feeding source for small rodents, which will encourage them to look elsewhere for their next meal. If you have a rodent problem before installing turf, talk with your sales representative about installing wire mesh underneath the turf, which will further deter these pesky critters.
What is infill and what is the difference between them?
Infill is a sand-like material that is one of the final steps of your artificial turf installation. The infill helps weigh the turf down while acting as a ballast to help the turf fibers stand up. There are many types of infills, from silica sand to antimicrobial. You can learn more about these different types by visiting our BLOG POST on infill.
